French half-timbered, oak with clay

2025

In a narrow street of an old French village stood a weathered facade. An oak frame with cobwebs in between. The thick beams formed a playful yet sturdy pattern, like a puzzle of oak that had already survived hundreds of winters. Between the wood, light-colored cobwebs filled the spaces, cracked here and there but still standing proud. In that facade, the Middle Ages are still very much alive.

In a narrow street of an old French village stood a weathered stone facade. The shutters were old, but they held stories: storms they had weathered, summers they stood wide open to let in the warmth, winters they kept out the cold, as if whispering that beauty lies in everything time has touched.
